Black Widow Spider Night Rescue And Relocation Operation With Careful Shovel Actions For Safety

After a failed rescue and relocation attempt a couple of nights before when I discovered this black widow spider right under my truck tail gate, I was glad to be able to carefully remove it by slowly approaching it's web with a shovel and being sure to quickly though safely block it from climbing back up under the truck. It was intercepted by the shovel and I was able to walk it a far distance away from my base camp. At one point it curled up into a defensive posture but once I got it to the safety of a creosote shrub, it found its way back out in to the night.
