Hanging Out With A Shy But Curious And Friendly Daily Visiting Dancing And Jumping Kangaroo Rat

This seasonally active kangaroo rat has been hanging out with me for several hours into the night every day now for a week or two. I was processing some flax seeds which tend make a mess and get every where. So every night the kangaroo rat comes back to the same place where the flax got scattered on the ground and it has a small feast. It's no longer afraid of my presence or movements, sometimes it even seems to like to dance. It gets its name because it actually hops rather than scurries around.
