Making Biodegrable Nursery Seedling Pots With Recycled Cardboard

It's possible to make earth-friendly biodegradable nursery seedling pots with a bit of scrap cardboard. You just rip the cardboard into small pieces by hand, soak them in water, then shred them in a blender with water to make a pulp. You then dab the pulp, layer by layer onto a pot or cup, and like paper mache, it will take the shape of the object. You just let it dry, drop the object out, and you have a seedling pot. Just poke or drill drainage holes, add a soil and a seed, mist with water until it's ready to plant, and it can be planted in the ground as is, or easily broken off. It will rot and compost away in the soil overtime if left on, or it can be used again if made thick enough to not fall apart after one use.
