I've seen a number of mantis like insects out here. I'm no entomologist, so the best I can do is approximate what insects look like. Some day I'd like to develop my skills of identification. For now, I'm just appreciative and in awe when they visit and when I'm given the opportunity to learn from how they have adapted and survive in the harsh desert climate conditions.
