Packed Garden Project Materials for Donation

One door closes, another opens. As one life chapter transitioned to another, I had to pack up an epic backyard garden system and donate it all to a friend as I was in a nomadic state at the time. I told myself after this one, I'd never let this happen again, that being, the process of over-accumulating building materials on a rental site, or on any site for that matter. You never know when you'll be forced or obliged to pivot. It's counter-intuitive in permaculture design, but for most of us, we're just not their yet. We're still mostly share croppers. Within a few years I'd finally have my own land. Though that day killed a life-long bad habit, not having an elegant exit strategy. Luckily with this garden project move, I was able to still access some items and even see many things continue to grow. Everthing got absorbed into new homes and gardens. I do wish and hope that someday there will be more opportunities for urban folks to temporary store bulk items and move them around. I always dreamed of leasing a big industrial yard again after I had so much fun doing so once years ago. It was be nice to run a permaculture junk yard, but do it right!
