Rosemary Herb Bush Shrub Growing Roots from the Stem

I'm very intrigued to see the various means by which different plants grow and propagate. Often the same nodes that when above ground and exposed to air would grow branches or leaves, can, when covered by soil, become nodes that produce roots. Knowing which plants are able to do this is valuable for techniques such as air rooting where you can string together and propagate multiple independent plants from one source plant. Tomatoes for example can be scaled up and out in this manner. Once a segment of vine has grown roots into a new pot, it can be severed from the original source and grow on its own and even produce more similar additional autonomous plants.
