Tools, Gear, and Equipment Care, Maintenance, and Storage Hacks
Tools, gear, and equipment of all kinds get a lot of wear and tear on job and project sites. Over the years you evolve methods to mitigate damage and prolong the lifespan of everything you're responsible for whether low or high cost. The failure of a tool on a site, which can often be far from a supplier to replace it, can eat into the work day and be a major set back. Thus, good crews develop good habits that they share and uphold together to keep their kit in good working order and prevent undue stress and damage.
Here is an archive of some of the hacks I've come up with or learned from others. There's rarely only one right way to do anything, as long as a diversity of different ways are equally effective, I'm always open minded to learn new techniques.
