Why To Use Spin Top 5 Gallon Bucket Lids

You often see similar spin top plastic bucket lids on bulk pet food containers, however they're also sold at hardware stores and online. For the survivalist/prepper lifestyle, a supply of these is a must if you're using 5 gallon buckets. The standard 5 gallon bucket lids I've found are either not secure enough, or difficult to remove even with the proper tool. These air and water tight, yet easy to remove and put on lids are great.

I'm in the process of phasing out as much plastic as I can, I currently still have several of these type of buckets. I'll cherish them as long as they last, but after these I'm going to allocate more funds towards galvanized metal buckets moving forward.
